The unit is having all the
facilities right from the processing of Raw material, tooling, manufacture, heat
treatment, testing, finishing and packing under one roof. A brief study of the
available facilities will give the inkling about the quality product.
Raw material processing block:
The
raw-material of the unit is Wire Rod in coils of various grades. Only the
quality certified materials are used and the testing for the same is also
conducted in own lab. This block has following line:
Material handling
: A moving lifting crane for unloading from trucks and racking of raw
material at proper place with 1.5 M.T. load capacity. It also covers the
Pickling line.
Pickling line:
Steel
tanks with fiber lining are used for pickling of descaled raw material. Descaler and Wire Drawing Machines: One Horizontal descaler of 16mm dia max. capacity and two wire drawing machines of 10mm and 16mm Max. capacity with matching capacity Butt welder and Pointing machine are used to draw wires to the required sizes.
Annealing Furnace: GEC - ALSTHOM make 110 KW and 2.5 M.T. batch capacity Pit Cyclic furnace with Electronic Cycle Programmer and thirstier controls. Wire is annealed for products requiring annealed wires.
